About PM&L Theatre

Our Story

PM&L Theatre has been a cornerstone of community theatre in Antioch, Illinois and the greater Lake County area since 1963. For over sixty years, our all-volunteer company has brought quality live theatre to audiences across the region.

What began as a small group of theatre enthusiasts has grown into a vibrant organization producing six or more shows per season, from beloved musicals to thought-provoking dramas, comedies, and youth productions through our StageStruck program.

Our Mission

PM&L Theatre is dedicated to enriching our community through the performing arts. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in and enjoy live theatre, fostering creativity, collaboration, and cultural engagement.

Our Home

Our intimate theatre at 877 Main Street in downtown Antioch offers audiences an up-close theatrical experience. The venue seats approximately 100, ensuring every seat provides an excellent view of the stage.
